Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a CrossFit professional athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She also is the founder of Crossfit Reykjavik and runs it also. Annie is the sole female ever to win at the CrossFit Games two times. Annie was second at the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. She has won the CrossFit Games 2011 and 2012 twice, becoming the first female winner. Also, she was credited with taking home the Dubai Fitness Competition in 2013 as well as the 2017 Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie together with her both her parents and siblings was raised at Reykjavik Iceland. As a kid, she's been a competitive athlete and fitness enthusiast. The year 2009 saw Annie Thorisdottir participated in the CrossFit event in California. Annie Thorisdottir was aged 31 (by the year 2021). She is 5'7 tall and she weighs 67 kilograms. Annie was the first to begin CrossFit training in California at the age of 2009. She was successful in her first competitions and finished within the top 10 in the rankings. The team was unable to claim any titles and ended up 11th in the final rankings. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. The coach Jami Tikannen coached her to a second place finish in the CrossFit Games, and a medal that was silver at the time of the year. Following that, she again participated in the CrossFit events and thanks to her dominant performance she won the competition and became the first female to win CrossFit Games. Annie won again her place in the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her outstanding performance. She became the first female athlete to win two CrossFit Games at once. The silver medal was awarded in 2014. In 2021, she won the Bronze award at CrossFit Games. Annie coaches and train in Crossfit Reykjavik that she started. With rising fame as an athlete Annie has been a face of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekick Yerbae and many others. Her own Youtube page is awash with over 1000 subscribers, where she posts her family and travel videos as well as training diets.
